STUDENT REGISTRATION
The Student Registration packet must include the following in addition to the completed forms (A through J) below: 1. Official Birth Certificate or Passport 2. Immunization Records 3. Proof of Residency (choose one from list below) - (2) Utility Bills (e.g. electric/gas/oil) - Lease or Rental Agreement - Recorded Deed - Residency Affidavit (only if applicable) For new residents purchasing a home in Barrington, registration can only be completed after the closing date. For new residents renting in Barrington, registration can only be completed after the effective date of the executed lease agreement. Please contact our office with any questions at (401) 245-5000. New students may not enter school without proof of immunizations. All Student Registration packets, other than for incoming Kindergarten students during Kindergarten Registration Week only, must be returned in person to the School Administration Office, 283 County Road, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. including summer months. For a Student Address Change, please complete the Student Address Change Form provided below and bring the form along with proof of residency documentation to the School Administration Office, 283 County Road, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. including summer months. |

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION WEEK
Kindergarten Registration Week will be held February 11-15, 2019
between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at each elementary school.
Parents are also welcome to register at the Administration Office at any time.
A required part of Kindergarten is Kindergarten screening. We will be screening prospective Kindergartners on the following dates:
February 25th for Primrose Hill student
February 27th for Sowams students
February 28th for Nayatt students
Appointments will be made at each elementary school the week of registration. All screenings will be held at the School Administration Building in the School Committee Room.
If you are unable to attend your schools screening, the following dates are also available from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm by appointment only. Please contact the Pupil Personnel office at (401-247-3145), as soon as possible, as space is limited on these dates:
8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. February 1, March 1, April 5, May 3 and June 7.
If children have already participated in the child outreach screening during the 2018-2019 year, they do not need to be screened again.

The Barrington Public Schools Kindergarten Program is full-day.
